The Jagora University Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree programs emphasizes competency-based education, focusing on both theory and application. They are designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce, advance within their chosen careers or further their education. Students enrolled in this program will acquire skills that will better prepare them to understand, integrate and apply what they learn to their workplaces, both immediately and over the lifespan of their careers.
To be awarded the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree students must successfully complete a minimum of 120 credit hours, that’s about 40 classes a combination of core, elective and general education hours.
The Jagora University Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree is part of a cohort of JU Career Programs that teaches everything required to take the candidate career to the next level in the shortest amount of time. Career Programs contain Skills Courses from the competency areas defined by employer partners.
Career programs can be completed in four years or less with an estimate of 45 hours of study per week. In some cases, the study could be completed in less than four years with the accreditation of prior experience learning. Jagora University Career Program graduates can earn USA nationally recognized certifications.
Jagora University Bachelor of Art in General Studies (BA) degree.
The Jagora University Bachelor of Arts in general studies program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education by combining a core set of general education courses with courses from several career-related disciplines. The program lays the foundation for a broad base of knowledge with general education courses in a variety of subject areas. In addition, students can select courses from various disciplines such as business administration, marketing, criminal justice, and early childhood education to customize the program to meet their professional and personal goals.
